THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE MARRIAGE

These days, we think marriage to be the ultimate, it is not supposed to be seen like that, we have soon forgotten the root of marriage, the purpose of marriage, our approach to marriage had made a lot of ladies miss or even lost their way, therefore making some young stars think that marriage is not worth it, some say it is only because of children that they will marry because some so called couples have made marriage a ridicule and such men will not love their wives the way they ought to, they were never prepared for marriage but they were maybe forcefully joined together, while some are out of wedlock giving birth to the notion of all my friends are married so therefore i should look for any available man or woman to marry. When are we going to realize that there is no good marriage without love? We will fail and fall countless times without love, it is only love that will make a man never to raise his hands against his wife, most things that makes some people regret are discussed here but if  addressed before marrying, we will sure enjoy our marriage.

KNOW YOUR SPOUSE

When i say know your spouse, i mean that you should be able to give some details about your spouse and also to be accountable of your spouse to some extent, know what makes them angry, how they act when they are angry, how to know if they are happy, when to approach them when you need to discuss an issue bothering you. know their likes and dislikes, the way she approach issues, is she respectful, is she the type that can inspire your dreams, is she creative, is she dependent, is she a goal getter, is she fun to be with? these and many more you should be able to know so that you won't make a statement like i curse the day i know you, mind you, this also implies to the woman in question, you should also be able to know these things about your man.

GET USE TO FAMILY DIFFERENCES

You should get acquainted with the family that you are about to go into as a woman and you should also get acquainted with the family that you are about to marry from as a man to know if her family can be you family, because the minute you say i do, it means you have accepted her family as yours, that means she also accept your family as hers so that there will not be this stigma of mother in-law being bad and all of that, the reason why there are always issues in marriage, some families always what their relative to marry that one person that pleases their heart, that one person that have won their heart. partner choice should not be decided by families, as man or woman, you have your own life to life and it is not your mother or father that will live with that man or woman, therefore follow your heart and marry that person that your heart yells for, parents should not interfere in the relationship of two young stars except if one of them possesses a questionable character and the other person who is ignorant of it should be notify and not imposing or passing orders.
One thing is certain without controversy, and that is, our family is our life but we still got life else with someone different, somebody from another family, so, as a family we should guide our children and not go against their wish forcefully so that love and peace will be the foundation of both families.

LOVE YOUR SPOUSE FOR REAL

These days, most men enslave their wives in the name of being the head, love never enslaves anybody, it foster progress and peace through humility and sacrifice, if you cannot make sacrifice then you should not marry at all, if you choose to marry without love then you will endue your marriage, and that is not the virtue of marriage, God instituted marriage so that there will be peace and progress, so that the man will not do things alone that is why a woman or a wife is called help"mate", take note of the word in quote "mate", a mate is a person that is at the same age with you.

this is to say that you should not treat your wife lesser than you treat yourself, don't respect your wife lesser than you respect yourself, in your heart she should be your queen and in her heart you should be her king, respect is reciprocal, a man should love his wife just the way Christ love the church to the extent of laying his life to safe the church and a wife should honor the husband, submit to the husband and respect her husband, she should be the friend her husband can confide in, i mean, no matter how close somebody might be to her, she should not expose her husband weakness except if it has to do with the matter of life and death because the moment you say i do, you become one flesh.
