This topic is worthwhile, I wish
to welcome you to the house as we are about to discuss an important issue, a principle
that makes marriage work, a family is a group of persons that believes and work
with love irrespective of their different attitudes, to be sincere, if you don’t
have look at the attitude of your husband, wife or child (ren) because nobody
is a saint, what any family member needs is understanding, tolerance, sacrifice
and above all love, I will want us to continue but before then I have to ask if
you have read our previous post, if you haven’t I will advise you to read it here,
if you continue us without reading I will presume that you have read and
understood our previous post so let pull the take off button.
We are discussing today the principles
that makes marriage work, as a married man or woman what are the principles that
you need to make your family or marriage enjoyable, it is a simple ideology
that whatever you cannot give, you cannot get that is how it works, some women
wants their husbands to be nice and simple to them when they are not, some want
their husbands to love and cherish them when they don’t care about their
husbands, others want time from their husbands when they don’t give time to
their husbands, you should know that whatever you want that you should give to
the person you want it from, the principles of a happy family thus.
GOD
Before some persons got married
they pray every minutes and seconds seeking the face of God but now that they
are married, the door of the church that was wide open to them back then is now
too narrow or closed, why is it that people don’t think or appreciate God when
things starts working well, it is like we don’t to know that outside Christ is
crisis that is why most families encounters trouble every here and then because
their family is not on a solid foundation, God is the foundation you need, God
is the solution to all your problems because without Him you are nothing so
make God the foundation of your marriage today.
GOD’S WORD
There are a lot of books in the
market today, most of these books have up to third to fourth edition because of
inconsistence of human being, looking for what they don’t have while the ones
they have is wasting away but there is a book that is not editable but
consistent, whatever you need in this world is in that same book, business,
education, marriage and daily way of living, we are fighting each other at home
because we are far from the Bible, if we
hold on to one scripture from the Bible and use to work in our various home,
there will be no fighting.
If a husband hold on to the
scripture that says, husbands love your wives just as Christ love the Church,
the men will not conceive the idea of hurting his wife because the Lord so love
the Church to the extent that he has to lay His life for the Church to live,
this is why the husband must love his wife to the extent of seeing her as himself,
can anyone hurt himself intentionally, no way, if he cannot hurt himself then
he should not hurt his wife because his wife is one flesh with him, the Bible
also made clear that women should be submissive to their husbands.
These days you don’t see a
submissive woman, what you see is a disobedient and disregarding woman, her
clothing is do or die, if there is no money, the man must provide money for
food, no respect anymore that is why the Bible should be the book they read now
so that they will understand what it means to be a wife, a woman should be
humble, gentle, respectful and full of understanding, they should read and know
what it means to be a woman of virtue, a woman of excellence.
UNITY
There is no unity in some family
which leads to family battle, such families home is now referred to as a battle
field for irag and iran fight, what is the reason behind this disunity, the
reason is pride, nobody want to let go of an issue, when the man says this, the
woman will say no and when the woman says that the man says no, and it is
scriptural that a kingdom that is against itself cannot stand, that is why a
family that is against itself will not stand or experience peace, a husband and
wife should try to know why they are not doing things in one voice because such
is detriment to their children up bring.
Because they are the mirror which
the children looks at and whatever they see that is what they believe to be
true, parents don’t corrupt your children’s future with your present because
you are a caretaker to them and nothing more.
LOVE
There is something that begins
the journey of marriage, sometime I am forced to ask what is the strength and
ability of true love in marriage, after pondering on this word I came to
resolve within me that love is the strength that stops evil act, it truncate
the evil passage of any manner, this is to say that wherever love is there will
happiness be, love see beyond mistakes, love take no offense, love is not puffed
up, love do not parade itself, love takes care of all and sometimes have none,
love should be the reason why you are about to or married because that is the
factor that will make you enjoy marriage, don’t think that because of time or
because you need children, you should marry out of love so that you can enjoy
your marriage.
